Tilton’s 8000-Series hydraulic release bearings (also known as hydraulic throwout bearings or concentric slave cylinders) feature race-proven Tilton reliability for the street. These hydraulic release bearings have been designed for ease of installation and maximum reliability, at a very competitive price. These hydraulic release bearings are designed to mount onto the transmission input shaft bearing retainer, and are compatible with a variety of transmission types.
The flat face bearings (8100 series) are for clutches with flared tip fingers on pressure plates. The radius face 54mm bearing (8400 series) is used on “typical” straight finger pressure plates.
This kit includes:
- 8000 series bearing
- Maxworx centering tube
- 3an feed line
- 3an bleeder line
- 3an bearing fittings (x2)
- 3an bleeder housing
- hardware for bearing install
- spacer specific for your clutch (mcleod single disc, mcleod twin disc or Tilton ST246 ONLY)
This bearing is for the CD009 transmission with Mazworx bellhousing setup. When purchasing a clutch kit from me for the CD009 setup, I provide a billet bearing spacer that makes measuring for air gap a non issue. Each spacer/shim is setup specific to each clutch so no measuring is required. Just install and go!
